Our Core Values
These are our core values. They are what we value most and use as the foundation for who we are and what we do as a church. LOVE - the love of Jesus Christ flowing through us to others. The love of God for us is shown through the sacrifice of His Son and flows through us to our brothers and sisters in Christ and to all the people of the world. (John 3:16, John 13:34-35, I John 4:7) BIBLICAL TRUTH - the only totally trustworthy guide for our lives. The Holy Scriptures are the result of divine inspiration. They are without error and serve as the final authority to govern our lives. (II Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12, Psalm 119:105) FAMILY - wanting families to be strong relationally and spiritually. The family, the first institution established by God, is the strength of our church, fosters love and harmony, and is the basis for our ministering and discipling. (Deuteronomy 6:6-7, Joshua 24:15, Proverbs 22:6) PRAYER - the great privilege of conversation with God. Prayer is communication, a two-way communication between God and man, as well as communion, the purest form of worship. (Luke 11:1-4, James 5:16, John 17:20-21, I Thessalonians 5:17) WORSHIP - the expression of our unrivaled devotion to God. Worship is the expression of our love, devotion, and obedience to God. It's true expression will transform us. (John 4:24, I Chronicles 16:29, Luke 4:8) FAITH - trusting in the wisdom and goodness of God. Faith is trusting and believing in God and His promises as our hope for salvation and eternal life. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Hebrews 11:1, II Corinthians 5:7)
